You are right there Scrobs. The short walk around the block now takes 10 minutes instead of 20! Pig has been a total gent (well, almost, apart from his attempts to make passionate love to her) and welcomed her with open paws. They are starting to snuggle together. He even puts up with her stealing his sticks!
She isn't the best looking hound I agree, Thomas: made from spare parts as Beast would say. However, she makes up for it by looking exquisite when running, by being soft and sensuous, and by being bloody smart :-) We love her for that.
Here's a dog thing. Once, a while ago, walking through Alnwick, His Late Imperial Majesty, Rocky W, on his lead beside me, we were stopped by an older man, so's he could pat Rocky; Lost mine a few months back, he was a reet good pal. D'ye not fancy another one, lotsa them need homes, try the Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Centre. He gave me such a withering look. I'm seventy-two, man, he said, disgusted. He didn't need to say any more, really. It was all in his eyes as he patted RockyWoo. Wouldn't be fair, an old man, taking on a dog, he could die anytime and the poor wee dog'd need re-homing all over again. So he patted others' dogs, on the street, and remembered.
Yes, Ishmael, that is a sad dilemma. My mother in law's poodle nearly starved herself to death when grandma died and had to be hand fed little bits of prime homegrown beef mince. She survived her mistress by four years until she was run over by Calfy's stepmother.
Lakes, Poppy tries to dominate Pig but he just takes the piss! It is very funny. I think she may be slightly younger than him.

Lils - she's marvellous, and those ten pounds, (lent to you by Elecs), will soon be flying off, with all the running around you're due...

Aww!
It has to be said Lilith. That is a most unattractive dog. Some might say plain.

I think she's beautiful, but then I am a left-hander so what do I know?
Thank you Blue Eyes :-) Of course she is beautiful to us.

She has that certain look about her which says "I know who's the boss around here...."

She looks fast. So great they get on well together. I'm amazed you can afford to feed them! I do hope the Idles get another Lab soon.
