I didn't know Daniel Hannan had been barred from writing for the Telegraph :-( One of the few MEPs not to 'go native'. He wrote a very illuminating column, highlighting the abuses within the EU, and he put British interests first. A sad loss for jounalism. That clip is brilliant, just love the look on Brown's face.
I sent him a congratulatory email and had a reply within a couple of hours, which is quite impressive for a Euro MEP with all those Strasbourg restaurants at hand and a huge dining expense account.
That clip was shown today on The daily Politic Show with Andrew Neil, in the presence of Paul Stains (Guido), and Derek Draper (Dolly), Guido's sparring partner. Guido was the consumate gentleman and Dolly showed himself up as the loud mouthed ignoramous that he is.

This was a signal moment, and will stay in the real news (places like here) for a very long time.
This has to be one of those moments, doesn't it? The beginning of the end? I have written to thank Mr Hannan.
Mr Hannan wrote leaders for the Telegraph until he was banned from mentioning Gordo or Europe...
re Lilith's letter, can somebody please draft and post up a suitable letter to Mr Dan that us less literate types can simply copy, print and sign? Ta.
