This scrummy young man is Oli Wennink and one of Britain's 200 Hottest Dates (Tatler Dec 2008) He is a pianist/keyboard player and is an absolute darling. I first met him 25 years ago when he was 2.
Don't worry girls, he has a couple of brothers if you miss out...

Your nephew? Free tickets for his beautiful auntie and cousin then? (I hope you like his music)
Sounds like he has been listening to a lot of Coldplay, lil. Famously described as bed-wetters' music by the manager of Oasis, if I remember. I quite like it, though.
Taking your three photos in order from the top, he appears to be getting less beautiful. Maybe it's all those long nights and stimulants.
I may have to puff my bro's band in response. (Available for all types of party in the Frome area).
More to the point, the 16 year-old idle daughter likes the music and thinks him fit.
Yes Pip. He had me projectile weeping at his grandma's funeral, at which he bravely played. His voice was outrageously sweet before it broke.
Idle, Calfy tells me he Hates being compared to Coldplay and why not. I made the same observation, but he gets a bit more Jeff Buckley later on. I think he is beyond the stimulants but I could just be old and out of touch.
Trust your daughter, Idle. Oli is an OE so she has impeccable taste.
Pip I like the most played track on his MySpace.
you must be very proud...he looks to be a lovely man...hope he is like his aunt in the way she treats others, then he would be a fine catch for sure!!!
I am immensely proud, Daisy. As far as I know we only share Robert the Bruce's genes, but notice I call him "my nephew" rather than "Calfy's cousin"...
Brothers eh? Sadly I don't guess he's got one about 50-57ish who is a fit, single, solvent, well read graduate professional who might find me compelling and adorable? Didn't think so. I'm more into Greenday than Coldplay but I'll check out that track when I get chance :-)
Sadly, no, Pip. They are 16 and 25...But they are also darling young gents. I shall keep an eye out for you, but it took a while for my 50something fit, single, solvent, well read graduate professional who finds me compelling and adorable, to show up. At least we know they exist.
We do indeed, Lils ;-))
It is great to get free tickets on occasion. Send him Mermaids way. :)
Keyboards...Old Holborn on his way...22 years...
Lils, is there something you want to tell us?
I dunno Scrobs, I may be channelling something...or it may just be the zeitgeist ;-) x
I had one of those zeitgeist things once. About twenty years ago, I think. Haven't seen it since.
Mr Idle
The only time that you would ever have been a likely suspect for having the "Zeitgeist" would probably have been when Eddy number 7 or his dear old Ma was on the throne.
No bad thing
I fear you speak wisely, beast.
