The finger protectors are sold to protect the hands from first degree burns - a measure of Elfun Safety apparently.
As for the 'men dating' advert; after explicit pictures on the menu were pointed out by Miss Griselda Trellis, of Adcaster Road, dates are now off the menu...

We have copied this in my house. My daughter and her friend take the charlie and baby roles to much merriment. Its very cute
