Blimey that poor child. Apart from the obvious danger it's a wonder it can breathe at all.

A spokesperson for Lidl said " We are sorry that our budget 'value' 'bogof' instant car-park white lines are not on sale today; and will someone please inform the idiot cyclist that he should be wearing a helmet".

we had a situation like that in chicago a couple of weeks ago...caused by a car stalling out as he was trying to get through a light...was a mess...took hours and two people ran out of gas in the process...

Last time I saw pictures of Beijing traffic it looked very different: pavement to pavement bicycles. Not much air there Pip.

Kev, it's truly incredible :-)

Ha ha Idle...more like our GP's carpark...

Mutley, parking bays are for wimps and Sainsburys.

Scrobs, see Mutley's reply.

Daisy, it makes me appreciate being a small town girl. Cars can be bad here too but as long as you've got plenty of time to kill chav watching the jams are not too bad.

That is an old photo of PC Kevin on traffic duty in Chinatown Watford. It illustrates clearly why he was so keen to become a train driver instead (a decision fully supported by his station sergeant too).
