Although this is not him in the video...Full of surprises, my family...
Update:
My bro says:
"The example in your blog is a very good one too; it is pretty much how it would actually be danced in a club (by me, for example!). If anything the clip is a little tame.
The music in that clip is zouk, an Antillean (=French Caribbean) musical style designed for a different (and less interesting!) dance, which has been adopted by modern lambada dancers as our standard dance music. But we dance to all sorts, for example to this:

Lilith
Im sorry.
This must be a terrible time for your family )+:
From some angles, and for some reason which I am unable to explain, the woman's arse end reminds me of an ostrich strutting its stuff. Lovely set of pins on her, too.
Lil, pay no heed to BOC. Just because your brother does this strutting, it does not necessarily mean that he is a poof.
I think in real life they all look a lot sweatier in the darkened clubs where they do this stuff...:-)
You could do worse than take up Lambada, Beast...you acquire a six pack and you get to spin the girl around like a top.
Killem, of course it means no such thing. We are all a bit partial to minority dancing in my family. Mum with her flamenco, bro with lambada, and my daughter with burlesque...(actually that last bit isn't true)
It can be quite hot and het, Hitch, honest:

Congratulations to your bro! He ahs my respect.
I am jealous, still dance like I did in the sixties, Badly.
Pretty special huh, SSNick :-)
That's the attitude, Old Tarf...I think it looks enormous fun :-)
I'm always being told off for waving my arms about...
However, I managed to savage someone's ankle with a well earned 'Single leg arkwright' a few years ago.
It's still discussed in certain circles...
I live in mortal terror of a single leg arkwright at all local gigs, Scroblene...cider does terrible things for the balance and the inhibitions.
And you have to wave your arms about...how else do you keep the music out of your eyes?
Can you now explain why the mad mullahs disapprove of this stuff? Are they all simply jealous or worried about peer pressure? Or maybe they are all eunuchs (or as a certain train driver might say: yew nooks)?
I think, GG, it is because we women are so lascivious that men need protecting from our degenerate and carnal ways.
Ah...! That must be it...
Well,
I did the Lambada with a very drippy young spotty accountant at an office party, many moons ago.
'You do realise I am engaged to be married, he gasped as I bent him over my left leg for the third time. I said 'I'm only dancing with you and ,what's more I'm your boss so do it again!!
He was quite a good dancer mind, but not a vey good Accountant.
Your brother must be an upstanding member of the community.
I know I would be.
Hilarious Trubes. You told him!! A woman of many talents you are...:-)))
E-K, perhaps that is why they dance so closely...we'll never know. It does look hot though :-)
Hi Lil: I'm not so much a woman of many talents, more like, a Jack of all trades and Master of none.
If there was anything going on, on the party scene 'tho' I was always 'up for it'!
Glad Pig's fine.x
Di.xx
P.S> I've posted a bit of silliness on my site for your perusal, s'pose it's a bit corny but I'm trying to get ready for our holiday next week.x
It's a very touching post Trubes :-)not corny.
When Paolo turns up tomorrow I'll try out some of those moves on him.
