No more Ms Nice Guy

I am so pissed off. Its fucking mad out there. A decent bloke dies from bullet wounds because he asked some thugs to stop smoking. A fostered baby drowns and everyone thinks this is appalling (which it is) but is it surprising...why would foster parents care more than birth parents? My personal experience of foster care involved a close friend who was adopted, physically and emotionally abused, ran away aged 11, put in foster care, sexually abused, ran away, put in foster care, sexually abused, ran away, put in a locked geriatric ward for 9 months and stuffed with largactyl (aged 15) released to foster care where foster father hit on her on the first night. I am sure there are great foster parents out there, but you cant expect them to love your kids more than you do.

Then there is giving "rights" to cohabiting couples. If I wanted "rights" I'd marry the sweetheart. I just want Boyfriend. I don't want the state deciding who gets the Juicer (it would be him) if he ever went insane and nasty and I had to ask him to leave (not going to happen). I did'nt marry Baby-father for the same reason. Who does it benefit? Lawyers, that is who. This proposal makes me seeth. I want the right to be different to married people!

Then there is David Blunkett. What the fuck is the BBC asking him on to comment on anything, let alone the total cock up on Indeterminate Tarrifs. This man is a discredited leach, a vain peacock, a fool. Needless to say, in Blunkett's considered opinion, it is the Judiciary that are at fault, not ill-considered legislation.

Then Social Services put two kids in the care of a woman who believed they were evil and not hers, and they die horrible deaths. This in spite of pleas from their father not to let mum have unsupervised access. I think he said something like "I obeyed the law, and the State frogmarched my children to their death".

Its a bloody insane world out there. Jesus it boils my piss.

I hit rant mode, E-K. It's either that or set myself to sweeping the patio, repeatedly...lovely to have you back :-)

Repetitive behaviour disorder Lilith. When I worked in Stockbroking, many moons ago, I was so stressed about the vile behaviour of a senior associate that I dashed off too the Restroom . A colleague found me waling my eyes out and furiously washing my hands. After the fourteenth "wash" I apologised for my wailing, she pointed out that she was more concerned about my bright red hands, than the manic sounds emanating from my mouth !
Needless to"say the "vile bastard" went on to become the Chairman of the company and I moved into the Leisure Buisiness which was great fun !
Moral to story Lilith..... Sometimes you just have too let it all go ! So good for you girl!
It is lovely to have EK back again !

Totally off topic again Lilith , how`s your baby dawgie, can you visit him to bond and stuff before you get him ? he looks adorable, like a tiny baby black bear cub .

You often have to be a cunt TB to be arsed to get to be Chairman. Human material ambition is a bizarre thing: once you get beyond a certain point of material wealth you would think people would just enjoy life and be nice to each other, wouldn't you?

Quite something when the state deems to be married people who have no intention or desire to be married.

They'll be solving the housing demand problem soon by deeming the old to be dead and no longer needing more than the space for a coffin.

Agree (wwith regret and sighs) your rant 100%. Sad thing is, there's nothing to be done about any of the situations you mention, the country is truly the land of chavs with OP's* money.

All so very true Lilith. I have long been of the opionion that politicians are the worse sort of parasites. Very rarely do they make life better for anyone, other than themselves. A self-serving self-congratulatory bunch of leeches. They don't even have to make our laws anymore, the EU does that for them. What purpose do they serve? Also, there is the bigger, hidden scandal of children taken from their parents to meet government imposed 'adoption targets'. A form of tyranny Stalin's Soviet Union would have been proud of.

Had I ever wanted to be married I would have done it by now. I recall deciding at 13 that marriage was not for me. I have justified that position to myself in different ways over the years but my core stance is that marriage is not something I want. I have seen it variously over the years as unromantic, a vehicle for keeping property in the male line, an unneccessary piece of paper that forces people to sort their differences out under legal scrutiny. I think that marriage is just fine for people that want to do it. I want the choice not to.

Fuschia, Adoption Targets?????!!!! Fuck this insanity.

Wow Lilltih that is really a right to the jaw of the country. What i don1t understand is your sometimes mentioned allegience to the left .

It is all their fault..well them and the wider contituency of meddlers .

Not that I would dare disagree with you of course, about anything
( Oh I love the last line ...brillaint)

I`ve just read it again.... HG has been my number one virtual swoon for a while L but with this standard of venaculour assault you are breathing down her neck

Indeed Lilith !The same Twty.Bastard stood next to us whilst we were at a reception recently, in Liverpool, for David Cameron. I`m pleased to say that DC engaged in conversation with us and ignored Twty B. Ha!
Mutley TD: I don`t have a blog site yet, I`m waiting to see my son-in-law mid August , he`s an IT consultant so he`ll be able to get me sorted ! I`m still a bit of a novice when it comes to techno stuff so I seem to be using other "bloggging chums" sites to communicate (sorry Lilith).

Newmania, I have always considered myself "left wing" although never identified with the SWP or Spiked or any of those lunatics and miserablists. To me, socialists are what New Zealanders are naturally. It kind of means "sociable" and helping people out to me, not for example, charging working people for the pleasure of employing idiots to regulate their lives to the smallest detail etc etc. Or

Your fine, TB. Natter on.

Newmania, HG is gorgeous isn't she?

TB - I have had an uncomfortjable day or two during which you have morphed through androgeny into womanhood and I now feel the time has arrived to start patronising you and flirting in an unwanted and oily way. So don`t be afraid ask me or one of the chaps if you have any trouble with your buttons will you.

These are community values of Conservatism L . On the subject of HG. Yes she is amazing I would like to have an HG of my own .I feel certain that beneath that stern exterior there is a vulcan well of passion just waiting to erupt. She plays the cool sophisticate but I bet she is a woman of uncontrollable primitive urges as well..

(Like Spock when he fought Kirk because it was the Vulcan mating season )

Or maybe not ?

Librarians, Newmania.

I like librarians for that very reason. A deep well of passion waiting to be released. Take off the glasses and loosen the hair, shake it all about - phwoar !

You'd just have to chat while you're doing it woulnd'tchya ? Just to hear that educated voice in the throes of ecstacy ?

The "Conservatism" I despise Newmania is the get-the-many-to-prop-up-the-wealthy-few type...the "Socialism" I despise is get-the-few-to-prop-up-the-public-servant(sic)-many

I have an Inner-Librarian E-K, she has the specs, the demure demeanor, and wears her hair in a scrunchie so that she can pull her bun out with one deft hand movement, but unfortuately she is crap at cataloguing, and is busy shipping all my books to Oxfam...

Lilith said...

Fuschia that is hideous and entirely likely. I heard a snippet about adoptions being decided before families had actually been found unfit, and when they have been found fit, not able to get their kids back! I would rather pay for a nanny to help a struggling mum than a social worker to decide that the best interests of that child would be served by having it adopted by some random nutter who keeps an immaculate house. (The immaculatly kept house is a sign social workers use to decide who would make suitable parents.)

Newmania on HG

"She plays the cool sophisticate but I bet she is a woman of uncontrollable primitive urges as well.."

You KNOW she is Newmania! Chocolate and Cherries? Alcoholic Apricots? A deeply sensual lady.

Now if someone gave me those ingredients and an afternoon with "The Lady" you could make a lovely mess...

Inner librarian, Lilith - I bet you are. Phwoar !
