Little dog

We had a crappy weekend one way and another so we cheered ourselves up by visiting our Little Dog. Only 3 weeks to go and its little puddles and hide your favorite shoes time...

This is him giving his Mum a kiss.

Fantastic Lilith!

The knotted rope toys from Sainsbury's are great - and cheap! We have three of these 'Rattys' around the place, and they invariably end up on the stairs so we can fall arse over head...!

BBC news today also included a bit about walking for half an hour three days a week, or half a week three days an hour or something statistically unproveable, but it did mean that your blood pressure will go down with walking Little Dog!

Not that it needs to of course, as it seems now that The Hitch has switched off again!

Isn't he a poppet? He started chewing Boyfriends sandals within moments of our arrival. Arrr.

Perhaps Hitch has got lucky and has no time to blog. I do hope so.

Thanks for the toy hint, Scrobs x

His name is "Pig". It has kinda stuck. We are still thinking about it. If you look at the second pic don't you think it's appropriate?

Now, Lilith, deep breaths, only 3 weeks to go, which must seem like a lifetime right now!

Lilith. I'm a regular reader here but this is my first "interface".

We had a dog just like him when I was a young lad. Unfortunately a door was inadvertently left open and he went exploring - only to be dicovered shortly after very squished by a passing vehicle which didn't stop. Moral: Make sure he can't get out unattended.

Looks like Hitch has been exorcised again as I can't raise him here either.

Thats a good name Lilith, you could call him Piglet until he grows up, ahh he`soooh gorgeous. With regard to Hitch : twas only a couple of days ago, he offered to assist in setting up my blog site, as I can`t get down to Surrey now, (re "back thingy") for my IT consultant son in law to help get me started. Bugga !

Hurrah Lilith Hitch is back ! Maybe baby Pig Doggy should have Hitch as his second, or honourary name ?

Welcome Nomad! A cautionary tale indeed. I have taken note. I was thinking of sending little dog and boyfriend to training classes together

Newmania, I love you, but can you chunk down for people with ADHD? Sometimes there are a LOT of words on your blog and I can't always manage them...

I like it Trubes, "Hitch" the English Pig Dog...I really need a mastiff for that though.

TT, I cant wait!

Newmania,

I started to like you this morning, when you had that huge amount of wordage from Auntie Flo, then when I posted a one word note 'Ouch', to register my interest - it was a damn good argument, and got me thinking - but you didn't allow it on!

So there!

Our youngest daughter had a friend called "Dirty Dave,( owing to the fact that he never washed), who had a pink and white Pig Dog, called Badger, I think it was a Bull Terrier. This dog suffered from dreadful flatulence, when I say the dog suffered, it was more likely those around him that suffered.
During the school hols whilst Mr Trubes and I were out in the City earning a "Crust" our house would be invaded by bored teenagers, we could always tell when Dave and Badger had been round by the pong of hormonal teeagers and stinky dog!
Despite his smell old Badger was a lovely Dog and was affectionately known as Badger the Boffer. His young master grew into a fine young man and learned the gentle art of "Washing". He is now a successful buisinessman with his own company, and sells Male Cosmetics !(Not called Badger BTW)

I love him! I want him! he is so floppy and cuddly and cute! Little Dog, that is, not Hitch. Although he may be one of those three above things, I dunno....

Truby-Doo!

Lovely tail! (Ha Ha)

Bill Hooper, who invented characters 'Jewring tha Woor', told me once that he had a dog called 'Roger', who made his 'mark' very early on in his career!

Wonder why;0)

A good reason for the naming him Pig is that we can go to Germany with him, and when people ask us what type of dog he is, we can say to them "Er ist ein Englische Schweinhund".

Jah?
